SUMMARY:(cancelled) 4th of July Parade: Walk on the Wild Side
DESCRIPTION:Cancelled. Unfortunately we did not receive enough RSVPs to mov
 e forward with a 4th of July parade float. Thank you to those who did expr
 ess interest. We hope to reprise this theme in the future!\n***\nJoin the 
 conservation community in Lincoln and march in this year's 4th of July par
 ade. All are welcome to join us from the littlest ones to the grown-ups! O
 ur theme is "Wild About Lincoln!" and we are asking all participants to d
 ress up as an animal or plant. Your outfit can be as simple or elaborate a
 s you wish! From masks\, face paint\, and full costumes to a simple flower
  crown\, set of ears\, or T-shirt depicting a favorite species\, all forms
  of dress-up are welcomed.\n\nLLCT will provide candy (nut-free) and stick
 ers for participants to pass out during the parade. We will make a banner 
 to be carried and everyone else will fall in behind it.\n\nJoin us on Thur
 sday\, June 28th between 6:30 and 7:30 PM at the LLCT office to help make 
 the banner and to work on your costume. (Detials below.)\n\nWHO: Everyone!
  Pull a tot in a wagon or walk on your own. There is no age restriction\, 
 except all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\n\nWHAT: 
 Dress up as a native species of any kind! (Bird\, mammal\, amphibian\, rep
 tile\, insect\, invertebrate (such as butterflies and beetles)\, trees\, w
 ildflowers and other plants.\n\nWHEN: Wednesday\, July 4. Exact timing wil
 l be confirmed in the week of June 25th\, when Park &amp\; Rec will send u
 s the final details\; but\, we are anticipating to gather around 10:00 AM 
 and to step off somehwere around 10:30 AM.\n\nWHERE: Lincoln\, MA! The mee
 t-up location and parking details will be confirmed in the week of June 25
 th.\n\nRSVP: Email Jane at chevalier@lincolnconservation.org. Please indi
 cate the number of participants and the age(s) of any children under 12 wh
 o will be marching.\n\nBanner Making &amp\; Costume Prep (Optional): Drop 
 by the LLCT office on Thursday\, June 28 between 6:30 and 7:30 PM to help 
 make the banner. Cookies and drinks will be provided. And\, Kathleen Lomat
 oski\, LLCT Adopt-A-Trail volunteer\, has art making and art directing ex
 perience as a community arts educator\, and has offered to help anyone who
  would like assistance!\n\nThis will be fun for kids in particular\, who w
 ill have the opportunity to decorate the banner with animal tracks and pla
 nt impressions\, etc. You are also invited to bring your costume to work o
 n at the office. LLCT will have available\, while supplies last\, the foll
 owing materials:\n\n 	cardboard\n 	paper plates\n 	multicolored constructi
 on paper\n 	multicolored\, soft felt pieces (9" x 12")\n 	colored\, perman
