SUMMARY:Emerson’s Nature in Lincoln: A Virtual Reading with Ron McAdow
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Zoom presentation with Ron McAdow as he r
eads selected excerpts from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s groundbreaking first b
ook\, Nature. First published in 1836\, Nature laid the foundation for the
Transcendentalist movement and continues to shape how we think about our
relationship with the natural world.\nIn this engaging virtual program\, R

raphs taken right here in Lincoln. By connecting Emerson’s timeless refl
ections with the landscapes we know and love\, this presentation invites u
