Jeff will focus on basic plant identification and some interesting speci es found in the fields and woods. He'll show us mostly native species\, in cluding a plant Native Americans call "green stick"\,  and a few that are edible or medicinal. We'll also learn some natural history of the plants we see. This walk is geared towards those who are new to plant ID\, but al l are welcome.\n \;\n\n\n\nAbout Jeff: Jeff is an avid outdoor enthusi ast &\; naturalist who’s been enjoying the natural world for 50 years . He’s a member of the Friends of the Fells\, The Trustees\, Mass Audubo n\, Sudbury Valley Trustees\, Acton Conservation Trust\, Arlington Land Tr ust\, Essex Greenbelt\, Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissi ons\, Lincoln Land Conservation Trust and Rural Land Foundation and The Ma ssachusetts Archaeological Society\, Inc.
