SUMMARY:Mindfulness Walk with John Calabria at Stony Brook
DESCRIPTION:Unplug from the busy world and let your senses come alive in na
 ture with a gently paced walk guided by John Calabria! Join us for the fir
 st walk in this series on the Harrington/Twin Pond trails at Stony Brook S
 outh. John will bring an old South Indian temple bell to chime at set inte
 rvals for moments of silence blended with opportunities for spontaneous no
 ticing of things along the way. This walk is about the journey and not the
  destination!\n\nThe series is organized for 55+\, but all are welcome. Ch
 oose footwear and clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Walking sti
 cks or walking poles can help for stability\, if you have them.\n\nFor inc
 lement weather\, call the LLCT’s general line at 781-259-9251 after 10AM
  the morning of the walk for direction.\n\nParking:  Park and meet in the
  turnout on Rte. 117 on the Weston town line. (Click here for a map.)\n\nJ
 ohn Calabria\, yoga teacher\, and expert in mindfulness and nature:  Year
 s ago John left a successful engineering career to help people find joy in
  their lives\, and feel more connected to this most beautiful part of the 
 world we live in. John spends as much time as possible in nature\, noticin
 g many things that others may miss. He cares for 60 bluebird nest boxes\, 
 forages for wild foods\, and is a longtime teacher of mindfulness and Yoga
  in West Concord.\n\nThese programs are co-sponsored with Lincoln's Counci
