SUMMARY:Mt. Misery Mindfulness Walk with John Calabria
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this next walk in the series at Mt. Misery for a ge
 ntly paced walk through nature guided by John Calabria. John will bring a
 n old South Indian temple bell to chime at set intervals for moments of si
 lence blended with opportunities for spontaneous noticing of things along 
 the way. This walk is about the journey and not the destination!\n\nThe se
 ries is organized for 55+\, but all are welcome. Choose footwear and cloth
 ing appropriate for weather conditions. Walking sticks or walking poles ca
 n help for stability\, if you have them.\n\nFor inclement weather\, call t
 he LLCT’s general line at 781-259-9251 after 10AM the morning of the wal
 k for direction.\n\nParking:  Park and meet in the main lot on Rte. 117. 
 (Not to be confused with the overflow lot at the canoe landing near the Su
 dbury River bridge.)\n\nJohn Calabria is a certified Wellness Educator wh
 o teaches mindfulness yoga and spirituality in West Concord. Years ago Joh
 n left a successful engineering career to help people find joy in their li
 ves\, and feel more connected to this most beautiful part of the world we 
 live in. John spends as much time as possible in nature\, including caring
  for 60 bluebird nest boxes with his friend Ray\, who is 88 years old.\n\n
