 udy Group for a very special webinar featuring Matt Foti\, “Trees and Pe
 ople Around the World: A Historic Perspective.”\n\nIn this presentation\
 , Matt will share knowledge gained from years of exploring the relationshi
 p between trees and people around the world\, including the historic signi
 ficance of some of our very own native trees. Learn about cultures that co
 nsider trees sacred because of their daily interdependence\, a view that w
 e have lost in today's modern world. With striking imagery of trees from a
 round the world\, including “cosmic trees” and “trees of life\,” M
 att will show how people's lives depend on trees for food\, protection\, f
 uel\, medicine\, religion\, shelter and even transportation.\n\nAbout the 
 Presenter:\nMatthew Foti is the President of Matthew R. Foti Landscape Des
 ign &amp\; Construction\, Inc.\, and has been an active member of the Mass
 achusetts tree care industry for more than 49 years. He is a UMass graduat
 e and past president of The Massachusetts Arborist Association and a Massa
 chusetts certified arborist. Matt is also a member of the American Society
  of Consulting Arborists and is currently a registered consulting arborist
  and a certified tree and plant appraiser. He received the VISTA Award fro
 m the Massachusetts Arborists Association in 2002\, recognizing outstandin
 g tree care professionals who demonstrate: Vision\, Integrity\, Service\, 
 Talent and Action. As featured arborist for WGBH's This Old House from 198
 8 to 2015\, Matt has provided tree care advice to millions of viewers. Whe
 n Matt is not pioneering new tree care methods\, he is searching out old t
