 \n\nTurtles are amazing reptiles that have been around for more than 200 m
 illion years\, longer than crocodiles and snakes! Meet a snapping turtle\,
  box turtle\, painted turtle and more at this family-friendly program\, an
 d learn how we can help these amazing animals continue to flourish in Linc
 oln.\n\nAt this program\, representatives from the Turtle Rescue League  
 will share information on what to do when you find a turtle in your backya
 rd or in the road. We will also learn what steps to take when faced with a
 n injured turtle\, baby turtle\, or turtle nest that is imperiled.\n\nBy h
 elping turtles navigate a rapidly changing world\, we can help ensure thei
 r path to the future!\n\nThe Turtle Rescue League (TRL) is a non-profit or
 ganization committed to helping turtles through education\, conservation\,
  rehabilitation\, and incubation programs. Founded in 2009\, the organizat
 ion focuses on protecting New England's native turtle species. TRL has a r
 escue vehicle and is busy throughout the spring and summer responding to c
 alls and providing transportation for turtles to their rehabilitation sanc
 tuary or a turtle hospital. As a secondary part of their work\, TRL will p
 rovide advice about non-native turtle species and assistance to turtle pet
