DESCRIPTION:LLCT is an active participant on the Native Pollinator Task For
 ce of the MetroWest Conservation Alliance\, which is sponsoring this upcom
 ing event on the "People-Plant-Pollinator Connection". In 2020\, LLCT will
  be launching a new initiative to establish pollinator corridors in Lincol
 n. We are working with Dr. Robert Gegear\, the featured speaker at this ev
 ent\, and there will be opportunities to engage on this topic locally in t
 he months ahead. Stay tuned for further information in the new year!\nWhat
 's the Buzz? The People-Plant-Pollinator Connection\nA Presentation by Dr.
  Robert J. Gegear\nDr. Robert Gegear\, biologist and professor at UMass Da
 rtmouth\, will speak about the interdependent relationship between native 
 plants and pollinators\, and the critical role both play in a healthy ecos
 ystem. Dr. Gegear will also provide great recommendations for homeowners l
 ooking to enhance their gardens\, fields\, and woods to support native pol

  regional coalition of conservation groups from communities in MetroWest. 
 The Native Pollinator Task Force aims to shed more light on the issues fac
 ing our native pollinators and encourages homeowners to create more habita
 t for pollinators. The ultimate goal is to establish 30\,000 acres of poll
 inator habitat in the region in the coming years.
