LLCT and Lincoln Conservation Department are pleased to host a vernal pool exploration.
Session 1: 11am-12:30pm Ages 15+
Geared towards adolescents and adults, with more emphasis on vernal pool ecology.
Session 2: 1-2:30pm Ages 5+
For families with children. Will and Danielle will share fun facts about vernal pools and offer a close-up look at some of the critters that call vernal pools home. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please sign up for Session 1 or 2, and update your RSVP if you find you can no longer attend the event.
Expect to walk about 2 miles round trip, with several steep sections. Please leave pets at home. Vernal pools are a sensitive habitat and wildlife is easily disturbed.
Meeting location will be emailed to participants before the walk. Rain date is April 26th.
