Spring is in the air! Learn to identify birds by sight and song at some of Lincoln’s birding “hot spots.” Dress for weather conditions, including wet grass and cool morning temperatures. Birders of all ages and experience welcome on these free walks. Please bring binoculars, if you have them! Please do not bring dogs.
Walks are on Sundays from 7:30 A.M.-9:30 A.M.
May 5: Drumlin Farm, Park at Drumlin Farm
May 12: Stony Brook South, Park at the dirt parking lot on Rte 117
May 19: Baker Bridge Fields, Park the Food Project Lot on Rte 126
June 2: Farm Meadow, Park at the Lincoln Station Lot
Leaders: At least two of the following local birders will lead each walk: Pam Sowizral, Norman Levey, Gwyn Loud, Ron McAdow, Nancy Soulette, and Michele Grzenda.
Walks will not take place if there is heavy rain or thundershowers. Registered participants will receive a reminder email with parking info before the walk and a follow up email the morning of the walk if the walk is cancelled. A rain date will be coordinated, as needed.
Space is limited on the walks. Please only sign up for walks that you can attend, and if your plans change, please let us know so that we can offer a space to the waitlist. Questions? Email llct@lincolnconservation.org.
