Emerging on the Cuban music scene in 2023, Espirales has already risen to international acclaim for their unique blend of styles and superb talent. Esperales blends Cuban music, jazz, and universal music within the sophisticated structure of chamber music. Espirales is a group that not only honors their roots, but also seduces audiences, taking them on a unique and captivating musical journey.

More about the Band
Espirales emerged on the Cuban music scene in 2023 as five outstanding graduates of the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba, who perform various genres: Cuban, jazz, world and chamber music. Tania Haase, Olivia Rodríguez, Alejandro Aguiar, Jesús Estrada and Rodrigo García have led and contributed nationally and internationally with projects in all these styles, performing at the International Jazz Plaza Festival in Cuba and the Habana Clásica Concert Music Festival. They are also teachers who have designed a development program on Cuban music and culture. Together they make up a unique quintet, masterfully merging the essence of Cuban music, jazz and universal music within the sophisticated structure of chamber music. Their impeccable sound and deep respect for musical traditions, together with a refined stylistic knowledge, make them ambassadors of a new sonic era. But what really sets them apart is their exceptional ability to “teamwork,” where each member contributes to a harmonious and dynamic whole. This collaborative approach and their tireless search for their own musical language make Espirales a group that not only honors their roots, but also seduces audiences, taking them on a unique and captivating musical journey.
