Join the Volunteer Conservation Crew!
Looking for ways to give back to the land? Become part of Lincoln Conservation Department and Lincoln Land Conservation Trust’s Volunteer Conservation Crew! Join us for Fieldwork Fridays and Stewardship Saturdays, offered the first Friday or Saturday of each month from April-June and September-November. Residents interested in hands-on involvement with maintaining our trails and open space are encouraged to participate in one or all of our workdays. Volunteers will get the chance to make a positive impact on our conservation land through building trail bridges, learning invasive species management, and improving trails. Enjoy the great outdoors in good company!
Our first event will be April 1, 2022, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pigeon Hill. Staff and volunteers will replace and restore a span of bridges along the Pigeon Hill trail to improve safety and walkability. The next events are on May 7th and June 3rd.
