Event Type

LLCT’s Winter/Spring 2023 Fireside Chats continue!
Norman Levey will present an introduction to backyard native bees, illustrated with his photographs and videos shot in conservation fields, LLCT pollinator installations, and private gardens throughout Lincoln.
Bumblebees are only one of the common genera that can be seen in our flower gardens and meadows. Meet the smaller cousins, including cellophane and mining bees, sweat bees, mason and leafcutter bees, and more. Norm will also highlight the importance of plant selection in gardens to support pollination by native bees.

This is a free, virtual program. Please register here to receive the zoom link.

Norm will share photos for about 45 minutes and then take questions from the audience.
