Spring 2022 Noticing Walks with John Calabria

Noticing Walks return in Spring 2022! Since 2017, John Calabria has been leading walks on Lincoln conservation land to people of all ages who want to enjoy a gently paced, observation-focused exploration of nature.

FREE. All are welcome. Please fill out THIS FORM to receive an email reminder a week before each walk and the day of each walk. Call the COAHS at 781-259-8811 to receive a phone call reminder. These walks are gently paced but do cover rough terrain and may have some elevation change.  Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and/or bring walking poles. Updates will also be posted online here.  Co-sponsored by Lincoln Land Conservation Trust and Lincoln’s Council on Aging and Human Services. 

Walks are Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM

February 1st at Farm Meadow/Codman. Park at 145 Lincoln Rd. Meet at 1pm at the far end of the Lincoln Commuter Lot. Parking is available in the Donelan’s Parking Lot (145 Lincoln Rd). This walk is on as scheduled. Please come prepared for snowy/icy trails.

March 1st at Mt. Misery. Park at the Mt. Misery Lot on Rte 117. Overflow parking at Canoe Launch Parking Area.

April 5th at Stony Brook. Park at the Twin Pond/Stony Brook Parking Area on Rte 117 (Weston/Lincoln Town Line).

May 3rd NEW LOCATION! We’ll be parking at Pine Hill and walking the Flint Pond Trails. Park along Sandy Pond Rd at the Pine Hill Trailhead. Detailed parking instructions will be emailed to those who register for the May 3rd walk.
