Join us for a Fall series: Gardening for a Changing Climate. These workshops are part of the Healthy Soils Series, a joint collaboration of the Lincoln Land Conservation Trust, Lincoln Common Ground, and Codman Community Farms.

The series will kick off on September 18th with a Seed Saving Workshop. Join us for one or both workshops with LLCT and Codman Farm.

2:00-3:00 P.M. Community Seed Saving: Giving Nature a Boost. Meet us at the LLCT Pollinator Meadow to collect seeds from a handful of native perennials. Learn how to sow them this fall/winter. Participants are encouraged to plant some in their own space, and to join LLCT in a planting day next spring.

3:00-3:30 P.M.  Break. Head to Codman Farm for snacks and a quick break between workshops.

3:30-4:30 P.M. The Seed Garden: Heirloom Food and Flowers. Meet at the Codman Farm greenhouses and learn the how and why of seed saving for your own heirloom crops, how to plan a seed garden, and how to support seed saving efforts.

These workshops are free and open to all. Space is limited, so sign up here!  Sign up for one or both workshops.

If you are able to, please consider donating to help our support these education efforts to improve our soils and land stewardship as a community! Please note that registration for workshops is separate from donations. Make a donation here.
