Noticing Walk with John Calabria in the Flint's Pond/Pine Hill Areas

When

Tuesday, December 4, 2018
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Event Type

Join us for this popular series of gently paced noticing walks guided by John Calabria on Lincoln’s conservation land. These walks are about the journey and not the destination! Based on trail conditions, we will determine in which direction we will walk on Tuesday, whether we walk along Flint’s Pond or walk around Pine Hill.

Parking: Park and meet along Sandy Pond Road near gate posts 23 and 24 on the Trail Map of Lincoln. This is in the area northwest of Flint’s Pond. Look for LLCT signage on the day of the walk.

The series is organized for 55+, but all are welcome. Choose footwear and clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Walking sticks or walking poles can help for stability, if you have them.

For inclement weather, call the LLCT’s general line at 781-259-9251 after 10AM the morning of the walk for direction.

John Calabria is a certified Wellness Educator who teaches mindfulness yoga and spirituality in West Concord. Years ago John left a successful engineering career to help people find joy in their lives, and feel more connected to this most beautiful part of the world we live in. John spends as much time as possible in nature, including caring for 60 bluebird nest boxes with his friend Ray, who is 88 years old.

These programs are co-sponsored with Lincoln’s Council on Aging.
