We invite you to join the LLCT and Lincoln Tree Preservation Study Group for a very special webinar featuring Matt Foti, “Trees and People Around the World: A Historic Perspective.”
In this presentation, Matt will share knowledge gained from years of exploring the relationship between trees and people around the world, including the historic significance of some of our very own native trees. Learn about cultures that consider trees sacred because of their daily interdependence, a view that we have lost in today’s modern world. With striking imagery of trees from around the world, including “cosmic trees” and “trees of life,” Matt will show how people’s lives depend on trees for food, protection, fuel, medicine, religion, shelter and even transportation.
