As a reminder, on December 1 (Town Meeting) and December 3 (polls) residents of Lincoln will be deciding on the future of Lincoln’s Public Schools. The Lincoln Land Conservation Trust (LLCT) and the Rural Land Foundation (RLF) urge all Lincoln residents to attend the meeting and vote at the polls. The proposed new school is consistent with RLF and LLCT’s mission to help preserve the overall rural character of the Town. We believe that there are many specific components of the proposed project from net zero, to re-use of portions of the building, to the integrated natural landscaping that reflect our conservation ethic in town. We hope you will join us in supporting this once-in a generation project. And a special thank you to the many volunteers who have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours over the last several years working to put together a proposed new school that will make all of us proud.
